What we ate: Rebelle Con Edition

We take our menu seriously at Rebelle Con. Our Spring event was no exception as we enlisted the help of Stephanie and Barb of The Apple Cart to curate a menu that highlighted women owned food companies, restaurants, and caterers. There are so many!!!

No one left Rebelle Con hungry. Here is what we served!

Breakfast

Michelle from Soul N’ Vinegar has been delighting Rebelles for many a Rebelle Con and we love working with her. The breakfast menu included gluten free chocolate chip banana bread, fresh fruit cups with honey and coconut, yogurt with strawberries bananas and honey, cheddar bacon and egg bites. Plus Ginger Juice cold pressed juice minis that were gone in a flash.

Lunch

We were so lucky the rained cleared up so we could dine on the rooftop for lunch. Island Shrimp Co. provided the most incredible Nourish Bowls that had incredible fresh veggies topped with shrimp, chicken, or grilled veggies. The beautiful fresh food combined with the fresh air and eating outside energized us for the second half of the day.

Afternoon Mocktails

We weren’t quite done with our day, but definitely needed a refresher break. Enter Mother Shrub and our mixologists from RVA Mobile Bartenders to stir up some afternoon refreshers

If that wasn’t enough fuel, we even packed up some snacks in everyone’s swag bags.
