Join us at The Branch Museum of Architecture & Design, a historical site that explores the impact of design in everyday life, inspiring individuals and communities to create a more equitable, beautiful, and productive future.

We’ll be gathering to view their current exhibit, network with like-minded woman and nonbinary professionals, and hear from five community leaders.

We’ll be discussing the topic of “Building A Career Portfolio” which is an approach that many of our SWELL members are exploring.

Our panelists will share how they have navigated traditional employment, side hustles, entrepreneurial endeavors, and asset ownership all while building a career that fills them up and moves them forward.

We will ask them about the decisions they have made that led them to their current roles, what they wish they did differently, and where they are going next…

SWELL Retreat

November 7, 7:00pm and
November 8, 10:00am-2:00pm

Save the date for our first ever SWELL Retreat, taking place at multiple venues in Richmond, VA.

Following the Rebelle panel event on November 7th, we’ll move to a private residence for dinner and conversation.

On day two, we’ll gather at The CEO Collective for snacks, and round table conversations, followed by a box lunch and private panel conversation.

This event is open to SWELL members and alumni only.

Rebelle events are thoughtfully designed by a small team of women professionals.

In 2017, we brought together our first team of women leaders from the small business community in Richmond, VA. Together, we produced Rebelle Con, a boutique conference that welcomed over 100 attendees, keynote speakers from across the country, hands-on workshops led by local thought leaders, and local vendors, for three days of inspiration events at venues across the city.

Since those early days, many of like-minded women have volunteered their time and skills to bring together attendees at events large and small. While our team members and structure have changed over the years, our goal remains the same, to create spaces where people feel comfortable to come as they are, to connect with and learn from one another.
